The Moog Synthesizer 1C was used by Wendy Carlos as the basis for her seminal work of 1968, 'Switched-On Bach'. She worked with Robert Moog to customise the instrument to her specific requirements and the resulting album of Bach arrangements became an instant classic and spawned many imitations.

Wendy Carlos used a Moog Modular 1C (customed) for Switched-On Bach; that album is not legally made available on the internet, but she also composed the music for the film, 'A Clockwork Orange' and I'm going to assume she used the same system for at least some of it...
