Unlike many electronic music duos, brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll don't just go on stage spinning turntables and then call that a performance. Orbital plays live techno using real synthesizers, drum machines, effects processors, Ableton Live, iPads, and MacBook Pros.
No actual vintage synthesizers here, except the TR-909, which of course is technically a drum machine by design. But still interesting.
